Work by friend of Lowry comes to the market

A work by Harold Riley (b.1934), a close friend of Lowry, will be offered by Thomas Watson in the Fine Art Sale on Tuesday, 13th May 2014.

The pastel, titled "James Henry Street, Salford", has provenance with both the Soloman Gallery, London; and Sotheby's Olympia.

It carries an estimate of £3,000 to £5,000.

The auctioneers are accepting entries for this auction until Wednesday, 9th April.
