Selling At Auction

Thomas Watson are completely prepared to guide clients through the selling process at auction. There are a number of stages and factors to consider, but we can simplify all of these for you.

If you are considering the sale of an item and require an appraisal, one of our valuers can conduct this free of charge. You can email images and details to and we will be able to tell you whether or not your item is worth selling at auction. If it is suitable for auction, then come along to The Gallery Saleroom in Darlington where we can give you a free appraisal.

We can help you to sell your antiques, collectables, fine art, jewellery and quality furnishings. Our selling process is subject to our charges, which are outlined below, and there are additional factors for you to consider. Thomas Watson Auctioneers & Valuers offer selling services of an extremely high quality that put the client first. We accept consignments on the three days following each auction between 9am to 5pm, and on alternative days by prior arrangement.
